"A dynamic book ... End materials offer notes on Rojas's process as well as background on the featured elements to round out this homage to the city." --Publishers Weekly "The text is minimal, letting the pictures largely speak for themselves--until the end of the book. A fun-fact-packed section details everything." -- Time Out New York Kids " Wow! New York City artfully creates NYC landmarks out of paper clips (paper clips!) and will be as much of a hit with parents as it is with kids. At the end of the book, landmarks are described in more detail." --www.BabyMeetsCity.com "A fun, creative, contemporary book inviting kids age 4-8 to explore the wonders of New York City." -- Midwest Reviews "I definitely learned a thing or two from this book!" -- Kids Konnection "A wonderful book that is imaginative and entertaining to read." --Mogul Baby "This book has really incredible and original art ...The text itself is very simple -- easily digested for any preschooler, but I think that the artwork will appeal to much older readers as well." --5 Minutes for Books "We LOVED this book. The imagination that went into this book is fantastic." --Cindy's Love of Books
