Polly has made her picnic and she is going down to the field to enjoy her tasty snacks. But before she knows what is happening her picnic is being shared by some very pushy and uninvited animal guests. Poor Polly! But no sooner is she quietly resting in the sun than a new picnic is being whisked into shape - this time with more than a little help from her mother - and those pesky pets.

This is Richard's first novel for Bloomsbury although he is the author of our forthcoming picture books POLLY'S PICNIC and IF I WERE YOU.
