Vic Parker graduated from Oxford with a degree in English Literature and Language. She has worked with children's books as writer and editor ever since, producing fiction and non-fiction titles, several of which have been shortlisted for literary awards. Elizabeth Raum has written dozens of books for young readers, including biographies, history books, and picture books. She taught English and social studies to students in grades 7-12 and worked as a librarian in both elementary schools and colleges. She particularly enjoys visiting schools and libraries to talk with students about research and writing. Alex Woolf is a well-known children's non-fiction author, with many books on history to his credit.
