This is a wordless comic-strip picture book that follows a chimp that escapes from the zoo and is pursued by his keepers all around the world by various means of transport. Also involved is a small boy who takes pity on the chimp and tries to help him preserve his freedom. The story first appeared in serial form in the children's, magazine "Snap". The book is in the style of Philippe Dupasquier's previous book "The Great Escape". His other books include the "Busy Places" series, three "Robert" books and "I Can't Sleep".
