"I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons" by Peter S. Beagle weaves a whimsical tale of a young woman named Missy who discovers that her mundane life is punctuated by the presence of dragons, both literal and metaphorical. As she navigates her everyday existence, the dragons symbolize her fears and anxieties, challenging her to confront her imagination and embrace her true self. With Beagle's signature blend of fantasy and realism, the story explores themes of personal growth, courage, and the transformative power of creativity, inviting readers to reflect on the dragons they might be carrying in their own lives.
