Justin Potemkin is a hare who has been made fun of his whole life because of his low social status and his grandfather, who lost the famous Tortoise-Hare Race years ago. In two car races, he faces the dishonest Czar Romoonoff and an arrogant tortoise named Lenin. Justin's willingness to hold a fair race and his determination to triumph over those who have kept him down are admirable and inspirational.
