It is part of a series which focuses on "true" ghost stories backed up with historical fact. Each volume includes five stories with a balance of periods/locations. Each chapter includes a single page, history fact file, to accompnay the story. This contains photographs, artefacts and historical background material, providing the fact behind the fiction and letting the reader make up their mind.
