One of a series of stories for the child who is beginning to enjoy reading, which uses large, clear type and pays attention to length and word-spacing. This tells the story of Nina who wanted to invent things, and of how she helps an inventor called Orlando who was troubled by mice. The author has written and illustrated many children's books. In collaboration with Oliver Postgate he was responsible for children's programmes such as "Bagpuss", "Pinny" and "Ivor the Engine".
