It's winter, and Jack's got new neighbours. They have a little dog too, but they aren't keen on Hercules playing with their precious pooch, Bambi - in fact, they won't let him anywhere near her. Hercules is stubborn and continues to woo Bambi, but she's a nervous chihuahua and not used to other dogs. So when she runs off, Hercules gets the blame. Then he disappears too. The next day there's still no sign of either animal, and it's been snowing all night. But when Jack searches the woods, he discovers Bambi with her leg caught in a poacher's snare and Hercules beside her, keeping her warm. They've been there all night, waiting for help. Hercules is a hero once more - and finally accepted by the neighbours.
