Great for age 3-9 years
It is bedtime, and a girl is tidying a tremendous mess of toys into a great pile in a laundry basket. Her brother dares her to lift the basket high above her head, which she succeeds in doing. Then he has a try, and fails, dropping the basket and scattering the toys all over the place. This starts a sequence of challenges between the two children. There are some things the boy can do and some things the girl can do. Penny Dale's other books include "The Stopwatch", "Ten in the Bed" and "Wake Mr B!".
