Katie Coppens teaches middle school language arts and science. She is the author of Creative Writing in Science from the NSTA Press. As an environmental educator, Katie taught at the Hog Island Audubon Camp in Maine, and she spent a year teaching high school biology and English in Tanzania. She speaks widely on integrating science and literacy in the classroom.
