Using the most popular fairy stories to inspire cross-curricular learning, this book focuses on five stories: "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Red Riding Hood", "Cinderella", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", and "Sleeping Beauty". For each story this book has step-by-step activities covering every area of the curriculum, and photocopiable sheets. Each activity is differentiated to show how it can be adapted for younger children, or extended for older children. This book is part of a series which uses traditional stories as inspiration for practical activity ideas with the three to six age group. All the activities it provides aim to provide a firm foundation for the National Curriculum and Scottish 5-14 National Guidelines and to cover many areas of the new Desirable Outcomes for under-fives.
