Shelley Fu, a Chinese-American, is fluent in Mandarin. She holds a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA from Marquette University. She is currently a technical editor in Chicago. Patrick Yee holds a degree in Graphic Design, from Camberwell College of Arts, London Institute, and a Masters Degree from Brighton University. He has won the MacMillian Children's Picture Book Award (England) twice and has illustrated more than 100 books.
