"The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen tells the tale of a young boy named Kay and his friend Gerda. One day, Kay is struck by a shard of a magical mirror created by the evil troll, which causes him to see only the worst in people. As Kay becomes cold and distant, he falls under the influence of the Snow Queen, who takes him to her icy palace. Gerda, determined to save her friend, embarks on a perilous journey through enchanted lands, facing various challenges and meeting magical beings along the way. Her love and bravery ultimately lead to Kay's redemption and the triumph of warmth over coldness. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].

The Snow Queen
When Kay is cursed by a magic mirror, he can no longer perceive goodness in anything - not his best friend Gerda, nor the roses in the garden. One wintery evening, he is kidnapped by the wicked Snow Queen and swept away to live for ever in her kingdom of ice. Gerda must travel through inhospitable and frozen lands, sustained only by the kindness of strangers, in order to find her beloved friend. And when she gets there, she must melt the ice in his heart before she can take him back home.
