The Composing Matters series (which comprises a pupil book, teacher's file and audio/CD-ROM) encourages composition work with a series of skill-based activities and projects for Key Stage 3 pupils. The audio/CD-ROM contains musical works from existing composers, includes examples of compositions produced by pupils and provides extracts to help pupils to improvise, which are linked to improvisation frameworks in the teacher's file.
