Patricia Franklin, is an American singer, songwriter, author, and Nationally Board Certified Special Educator. Franklin has taught kindergarten to ninth grades and began writing to personalize lessons for her students. She is the grandmother of four beautiful girls who are the inspiration for many of her stories. Patricia Franklin is listed on the Wall of Tolerance at the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery, Alabama, honoring those leading the way toward tolerance and justice in America. Franklin has also represented the United States as an educational specialist in Japan and India as part of the Fulbright Teacher program and the Center for International Understanding, respectively.
