Patricia Borlenghi divides her time between homes in northern Italy and the Essex countryside. She has worked in children's books all her career, both as a publisher and an author. Eleanor Taylor lives in Wareham, Dorset, with her husband and three young children. She is the creator of Beep, Beep, Let's Go, as well as the artist of No Trouble At All, written by Sally Grindley, and of Run, Rabbit, Run, for which she won the English 4-11 Award for the Best Children's Illustrated Book of 2001. Eleanor takes part in the Purbeck Arts Week each year, when she opens her house and sells her art. Brough Girling is an energetic promoter of children's books and reading, and Campaign Director of Readathon, the sponsored reading event in schools that raises money every year for children's cancer charities. Brough is also the successful author of many humorous books for children, including the Vera Pratt series. He has worked extensively as a broadcaster on children's television. He lives near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Stephen Dell is an experienced illustrator, particularly in advertising. Grandad's Dinosaur was his first full-colour book commission. Since its publication, he has worked on books such as Football Crazy: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Football (Bloomsbury). He lives in London.
