"A Library for Juana: The World of Sor Juana Inés" by Pat Mora tells the story of the remarkable 17th-century Mexican poet and scholar, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. Through vibrant illustrations and lyrical prose, the book captures Juana's passionate quest for knowledge and her love for books in a world that often restricted women's education. As young Juana immerses herself in reading and learning, she defies societal expectations, reminding readers of the power of curiosity and the importance of libraries.
