Ciaran Murtagh is an author and writer for children's television. Greg Foot is a science presenter on TV, online, on the radio and at live events. He's recently been recognized as one of the leading science communicators in the UK and named an engagement fellow for the Wellcome Trust - a multimillion-pound charity that supports biomedical science and engagement. Philip Giordano was born in Italy, and now lives in Tokyo, Japan. His work has appeared in magazines, children's books, animation, and toy design. In 2010, he won the illustration prize at the Bologna Children's Book Fair. Nikki Gamble is a lecturer, writer and directs the Write Away education consultancy. She is an evaluator for the Literature Matters project which aims to promote children's literature in initial teacher training courses.
