Norman Hunter (1899-1995) was born near London. After serving in the army in the First World War, he became a copy-writer for various advertising agencies. He was also a conjuror and held the prestigious title of Associate of the Inner Magic Circle. Norman Hunter is most famous for his Professor Branestawm books which he began in 1933. Louise Cooper (29 May 1952 - 21 October 2009) was a British fantasy writer best-known for her Time Master trilogy. She published more than eighty fantasy and supernatural novels, both for adults and children.
