Lesley Barnes is an illustrator and animator based in Glasgowwhose distinctive work straddles the spheres of fashion, music, children's literature, film and product design. Clients includethe V&A in London; Scottish band Belle & Sebastian; children'smagazines Anorak and OKIDO; Glamour and Stylist magazines. Noel Streatfeild wrote for children and adults, including the famous "Shoes" series. She was also a stage actress, a book critic and a lecturer on children's books. Noel Streatfeild died on 11th September 1986.
