Written by professional storyteller Tanya Batt and illustrated by Nicoletta Ceccoli, this adaption of three classic European faery tales follows a young princess on a breathtaking adventure to the magical land that lies east of the sun and west of the moon.

Nicoletta Ceccoli is the award-winning illustrator of many children's books, including The Boo! Book by Nathaniel Lachenmeyer, Little Red Riding Hood by Josephine Evetts-Secker, and Cinderella by Sarah Thompson. She studied animation at the Institute of Art in Urbino and currently resides in her native Republic of San Marino, Italy. Tanya Robyn Batt is a freelance arts educator and storyteller. This is her second audio book project for Barefoot Books, joining The Fabrics of Fairytale (1-84148-406-7). Tanya is also the author of The Faery's Gift, new this spring. Tanya is based in her native New Zealand, but devotes most of each year to travelling and telling stories.
