Nina Michaels lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, two children, two guinea pigs and two rabbits. Like Woolly, she is a keen knitter, and also enjoys other forms of textile art, from embroidery to weaving and rug-making. This is Nina's first book for children. Nicola Smee's characterful and witty drawings are well known worldwide. She has created numerous books for the very young, such as Clip-Clop (Boxer Books), and several of them have been shortlisted for awards. She has three grown - up sons and lives with her husband, an award-winning water colourist, in a small village in Essex. Nicola Smee is a well-known picture book artist and author. She lives and works in Essex.
