Inspired by encouragement from Mr. Wade and Mrs. Lynn, his third- and fourth-grade teachers at Parkland Elementary in western New York, he has studied literature and published stories through college and beyond. A former advertising copywriter, he directs an upper-elementary Montessori classroom in Florida, where much to his delight, his students thrive at creative writing, and where his sixth-graders read weekly with their kindergarten reading buddies. Greek-born and Athens based Sophia Touliatou has studied Graphic Design and works as an illustrator, doing mostly children books, many of which have gained merits and awards. You can find her work in Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the United States, and other countries around the world. Nikki Gamble is a lecturer, writer and directs the Write Away education consultancy. She is an evaluator for the Literature Matters project which aims to promote children's literature in initial teacher training courses.
