Nick East works from a studio in the beautiful city of York, which he shares with two illustrator friends, a whippet called Alfie and a huge lurcher called Basil. He drinks loads of tea, eats cake and laughs a lot. Sue Hendra graduated from the University of Brighton in 1994 and has been working as an illustrator of children's books since then.
