Tom and his little sister, Polly discover a huge, colourful parrot in their kitchen called Mister Macaw. He is a loquacious and very bossy bird who has swallowed an English dictionary and is DESPERATE to get back to his tropical rainforest. The threesome must find a way of paying for the parrot's airfare - and come up with the mega-wacky solution of robbing a bank with a . . . banana!
