"The Storm Seal" by Judy Waite follows the story of a young boy named Jacob who discovers an injured seal washed up on the shore during a storm. As he takes it upon himself to care for the seal, Jacob navigates a journey of personal growth and responsibility. His bond with the seal deepens, allowing him to confront his fears and challenges. The story beautifully blends themes of friendship, compassion, and the power of nature, ultimately leading Jacob to a deeper understanding of both himself and the importance of protecting wildlife.
