Mike Perricone writes about cosmology, astrophysics, and high energy physics. He was a senior editor and science writer for nearly a decade in the Office of Public Affairs at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, working on the award-winning science periodicals FermiNews and Symmetry. His career as writer and reporter encompasses a lengthy stint as a sportswriter, including 12 years at the Chicago Sun-Times. Perricone is also the author of From Deadlines to Diapers: Journal of an At-Home Father. A member of the National Association of Science Writers, he lives in Riverside, Illinois.
