Linda Strachan used to be a librarian and is a published children's author. This is her first picture book for Bloomsbury. Linda lives in East Lothian, Scotland. David Wojtowycz is a talented illustrator. He is well-known for the PURPLE RONNIE cards - and also for his bestselling picture books, which include RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE and COMMOTION IN THE OCEAN. He has also illustrated ONCE UPON AN ANIMAL and TEACHER ALLIGATOR, poetry collections by Faustin Charles, for Bloomsbury. David lives in London. Fiona Waters has worked in children's books for many years. She is an experienced writer of children's fiction and non-fiction. Phillis Gershator has written many picture books for children. Her mother, Mim Green, inspired this collaboration. To learn more about Phillis and Mim David Walker is the illustrator of numerous children's books, like Crocodaddy (Sterling). Mick Gowar is an author of many children's books and a prolific poet. Mick's work is published by Puffin amongst others and when he is not travelling the country conducting school workshops he is to be found residing in Cambridge. Jenny Alexander is the author of many fiction and non fiction reading books for educational publishers, including Mouse and the Bullies (Longman), which has been approved by ChildLine. Chris Powling is the author of more than 30 books for children, ranging from beginner readers to teenagers. A teacher and broadcaster, Chris was editor of the children's book magazine Books For Keeps for seven years.
