Helen Nicoll worked with Jan Pienkowski for over forty years, first at the BBC and then on the Meg and Mog stories. She owned and ran the audio company Cover to Cover for many years. Helen lived in Marlborough, Wiltshire. She died on September 30, 2012. Jackie Holderness is currently the Cathedral Education Officer at Christ Church, Oxford. She has written and published a wide range of educational books and materials. Alan Marks has illustrated children's books for several decades and has been awarded the Carnegie Medal and the Smarties Prize for his work in book illustration. Michael And Angela Shelf Medearis live in Austin, Texas, where they direct Book Boosters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to tutoring elementary school children. Larry Johnson lives near Boston. He co-hosts a radio talk show and has illustrated over twenty books for children. Michael Coleman is a long-standing author on the non-fiction list. As well as clocking up eleven books in his own Fould Football series, he has written titles for The Knowledge, notably Flaming Olympics, and Top Ten. Michaela Morgan is a well-regarded author whose recent Walter Tull's Scrapbook earned her glowing reviews and a boost in profile, as well as a shortlisting for the Blue Peter Book Award for Best Book with Facts. Judy Waite spent her childhood in Singapore, and then studied at the Portsmouth College of Art. She has already amassed an impressive body of published work for children, including picture book texts, educational titles and teenage fiction. She has two grown-up children, and lives in Southampton.
