Michael Rosen is a poet, writer and broadcaster, and held the post of Children's laureate from 2007-2009. Michael Rosen is a best-selling poet, author and performer, and a recognized authority on children's literature. He is a regular broadcaster, and was the presenter of the influential BBC Radio children's book programme, Treasure Islands. He won the Smarties Prize for his picture book We're Going on a Bear Hunt (Walker) and his titles for Kingfisher include The Kingfisher Book of Children's Poetry, Poems for the Very Young and Walking the Bridge of Your Nose. Michael Rosen lives in East London. Mik Brown is an experienced illustrator who has worked on many of Kingfisher's humour titles, including Hee Hee Hee from the Sidesplitters series. He lives in Surrey.
