Michael Rosen is a poet, writer and broadcaster, and held the post of Children's laureate from 2007-2009. Theresa Breslin is a Carnegie medal winning author whose work has appeared on television and radio. Her writing combines a powerful sense of drama with memorable characters and superb storytelling. Ann Jungman is a prolific children's author whose titles include the ever-popular Vlad the Drac and Leila's Magical Monster Party. Her first book for Frances Lincoln was Cinderella and the Hot Air Balloon, illustrated by Russell Ayto. Brian Morse is a primary school teacher in Warley, West Midlands. Grace Hallworth was born and brought up in Trinidad, where she trained as a librarian. She appears at many international festivals, on radio and on television, as well as serving on a number of children's literature award panels. His first book for children was Rosa's Singing Grandfather for Puffin, which was shortlisted for the Carnegie medal, a first for a younger fiction title.
