Straun Reid is a graduate in archaeology, and worked for five years on historical sites in the Middle East. He returns to give lectures on the castles of the saracens and the crusaders. Jonathan Litton has written and edited a number of non-fiction titles for children. Tom Connell has more than 20 years of illustration experience, and mainly focuses on vehicles and machines. Ian Jackson studied Technical and Scientific Illustration, and has had his work widely published in a variety of formats. Gill Harvey studied French and Philosophy at Oxford, and has been puzzling over life ever since. She became a writer/editor at Usborne Publishing then decided to go freelance and writing has become a way of life.
