Leo Tolstoy's epic Russian classic, beautifully rewritten in just 64 pages for young children. A sweeping epic that follows the lives of five aristocratic Russian families from the dazzling ballrooms of imperial Moscow to the carnage of Napoleons battlefields, this is one of the greatest stories ever told about war, love, loss and forgiveness. First published in 1869, this novel is one of the most famous books in the world, and this simple but atmospheric retelling now makes it accessible for young readers.
