The second editions have been fully updated to match the 1995 national curriculum for science. Useful features include: topics organised into double-page spreads for ease of use and understanding; questions throughout the text and at the end of each section; extension text and questions for more able students; high-quality, accurate illustrations produced by Geoff Jones; experimental work; full colour throughout.
