It's the near future, and the blood of the young - especially those under seventeen - is a very precious commodity. It can rejuvenate old people. Of course only the rich can afford young blood - and some people will go to any lengths to get it. Especially since taking blood from under-seventeen-year-olds is illegal. This book is part of the Breakouts series. It is perfect for readers who have gained a bit more confidence in reading and who are after a more challenging read, but who aren't yet ready for longer, more demanding reads.
