Focusing on 20th-century world history, this book is part of a series which covers the required Study Units at Key Stage 3. Primary and secondary sources are used to present a picture of what life was like in the past. The book reflects the structure of the post-Dearing curriculum, offering material in both overview and depth. There is a choice of three depth-studies: the Western Front, Nazi Germany, and civilians at war. A corresponding assessment and resource pack is also available.
