The book can stand on its own or can work alongside the other Key Stage 2 History title and the Key Stage 1 title to provide a complete guide to planning, differentation and assessment for primary history. This book covers Study Units 2, 3 and 5 of the History National Curriculum - "Life in Tudor Times", "Victorian Britain and Britain Since 1930", and "Local History". The lesson plans and photocopiable activity sheets also highlight the key elements covered, such as chronology, using historical sources and interpretations of the past. The use of Information Technology is highlighted throughout. Many of the photocopiable sheets are based on real historical source material.
