Jessica Ahlberg is an illustrator and author living in Brighton, Sussex. She is the daughter of the celebrated Janet and Allan Ahlberg, creators of celebrated classics such as The Jolly Postman, Peepo! and Each Peach Pear Plum. Toon Tellegen is one of Holland's most celebrated writers for both children and adults. He started his literary career as a poet, and began writing for children in the mid-1980s. In his dreamlike animal stories, Toon explores his fascination with the incomprehensible and unpredictable side of human behaviour. A G. P. for many years, he now writes full time from his home in Amsterdam. Jessica Ahlberg, daughter of the acclaimed author/illustrator team, Janet and Allan Ahlberg, studied fine art at Winchester College and has gone on to illustrate several books for children.
