Mulligan travelled to Town to find out what kind of monster he was. He tried to be a Scary Monster, but the little girl wasn't at all frightened; she gave him a sweet. Nor was he really a Messy Monster, or a Magic Monster . . . and as for being a Brave Monster, well! But he rather thought he could manage to be his mum's Naughty Little Monster!
