She has written more than 200 books about history, culture, science, and art. She lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys yoga, reading, and cooking. Mari Schuh is the author of more than 150 nonfiction children's books, covering topics from tomatoes to tornadoes. She has written numerous articles for daily newspapers and has presented at the West Virginia Book Festival. Mari lives in Wisconsin with her husband, Joe, and their house rabbit, Kindle. Yvonne Pearson is a freelance writer and poet. Her debut picture book, Sadie Braves the Wilderness, was published in May 2017. She has received a Loft Creative Non-Fiction Award, the Shabo Award in children's literature, and a Minnesota State Arts Board grant. She lives in Minneapolis. She has spent time in the wilderness and listened to beavers talking in their lodges. Mari Schuh is the author of more than 300 nonfiction books for beginning readers, covering topics from tomatoes to tornadoes. She lives in Iowa with Joe, her husband, and Nola, their feisty house rabbit. Rebecca Rissman has written over 100 nonfiction books for young readers about science, math, and history. Her favorite letter in the alphabet is R because when you say it out loud you sound like a pirate!
