It's Christmas Eve in Mac the cat's house and the family are busy preparing for Christmas Day. Catriona accidentally finds her Christmas present, some beautiful jewellery -- but then loses the ring. Meanwhile the family buy an enormous Christmas tree, which Mac is determined to climb... Can Mac and Catriona find the ring before Mum and Dad notice? Margaret Forrester was born and brought up in Edinburgh. She worked in India and England before returning to Edinburgh where she was a Church of Scotland minister and chaplain to two primary schools. She is the author of My Cat Mac, the first picture book about Mac and Catriona, and The Cat Who Decided, a novel about Mac for 6 to 9-year-olds. Sandra Klaassen was born in the Netherlands but has lived on the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides since 2003, from where she drew her inspiration for her picture book, Uan the Little Lamb. She has illustrated many children's books, including picture book My Cat Mac, and The Cat Who Decided, a novel for 6 to 9-year-olds. Sandra Klaassen was born in 1959 in the Netherlands but lived for many years on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, from where she drew her inspiration for Scottish picture books Peg the Little Sheepdog and Uan the Little Lamb. She has illustrated over thirty children's books, including My Cat Mac, Mac's Christmas Star and The Cat Who Decided.
