This title, from the A to Z reference series for children, contains full-page features on aboriginal art, decorative arts, techniques, materials and equipment, plus a clear timeline detailing the history of art through the ages. It also explains "types" of art (surrealism, impressionism, fresco, pop) and provides biographies of many famous artists, including Raphael, Donatello, van Gogh, Picasso and Hockney.
