This poetical picture book explores seven ways of catching the moon. Equipped only with a butterfly net a little girl tries hitching a lift with a witch, riding on a dragon's back as well as other adventurous ways to catch the moon. The moon is painted in its various states with ariel backdrops that take the reader from backgarden suburbia, to Arabia, over a lighthouse and to dragon-filled forests. A beautifully illustrated book, with lots to talk about, this makes perfect bedtime reading ending on the line `The seventh way is to close your eyes and dream a dream of midnight skies'.
