Seventh book in the fun and funny Greek mythology BEASTS OF OLYMPUS series. The Greek gods and goddesses meet the Norse gods in this beastly mythical mash-up. Demon must travel to Asgard, to help save Odin's boar, Goldbristle - without his shining light, nothing can grow and all of Asgard will wither and die. But nothing Demon does has any effect, and Asgard is a strange place - he must contend with Fafnir the ice dragon, ravenous and dangerous Fenrir the wolf and, worst of all, the treacherous trickster god Loki, who is determined to cause mischief. With the help of Ratatosk, a giant squirrel, and Thrud, the daughter of Thor, Demon tries his best to fulfil his quest before Odin decides to freeze him into an icicle and use him for spear practice...

Beasts of Olympus
The Beasts of Olympus series, written by Lucy Coats and illustrated by Brett Bean and David Roberts, is a fun and engaging middle-grade fantasy series that brings the world of Greek mythology to life through the eyes of a young boy named Demon, the son of the god of medicine, Asclepius. In this series, Demon is tasked with taking care of the mythical creatures in Olympus' Beastarium, a sanctuary where the gods magical animals reside. The central plot revolves around Demons adventures as the Beastkeeper, where he must use his growing knowledge of magical creatures and his quick thinking to care for and heal the gods' beasts. Each book in the series focuses on a specific creature or group of creatures in need of help, with the gods often adding complications to Demons already difficult job. Despite the chaos, Demon always manages to find a way to care for the creatures and impress the gods, though not without some humor and mishaps along the way. The series is aimed at middle-grade readers, typically ages 7-10, but its humour and charm make it enjoyable for a wider range of children, especially those who have an interest in mythology, animals, or magical creatures.Top of Form
