"Noisy Neighbours": George likes peace and quiet, but his neighbour Harriet rides a noisy motorbike and Louis plays the trumpet. They work out a rota for noisy and quiet days. "Just in Time": George completes a crossword with a bit of help from his friends, and then Harriet rushes him to the newspaper office on her motorbike so he can enter the crossword competition. The "I Am Reading" series provides just the right balance of challenge and support for newly independent readers. Large, easy-to-read type, satisfying stories by top writers and cheerful full-colour pictures help children make the transition from picture books to chapter books. He is now a prolific writer and visits schools and libraries when not writing. He lives in the Nottinghamshire countryside with his wife, his cat and his four fish. Liz Million completed an Art foundation course in Art and Design and then did a BA in Illustration. She got her first break with Walker Books and in the two and a half years since has completed six books. She lives in Co. Durham. Nicola Moon has also written Noisy Neighbors in the I Am Reading series. Andy Ellis has illustrated more than twenty books for children, including the I Am Reading series title Alligator Tails and Crocodile Cakes.
