Pablo Picasso was born in Spain in 1881. As a young child he loved drawing, and he went on to study at prestigious art schools in Barcelona and Madrid. For years he was a penniless artist, but eventually his fortunes changed and people began to buy and collect his art. This book charts Pablo's life, looking at his early struggles and rise to success, his relationships, and examines the work of the artist who invented 'cubism'. Full of colourful photos, and complete with glossary and date chart.
