Welcome to Bluebell Woods, home to a delightful cast of woodland friends. Everyone is gathering nuts and berries to store for the long winter months ahead. Adventurous Evie has heard of a long-forgotten hazel grove which has lots of nuts. She persuades her three friends to go in search of the grove, but on their way they get caught in a storm. Seeking shelter, they stumble across a hollowed-out tree. Evie realizes this could make the perfect hidden den for a sleepover. But will the den remain a secret for long?

Lisa Norton is the author of dozens of children's books and one play. She lives in the West Sussex countryside, near a wonderful bluebell wood owned by the National Trust. She is also a keen wildlife gardener, although she draws the line at rabbits! Rebecca Harry studied design/illustration in Exeter and began her career drawing greetings cards. She has illustrated several books including the Ruby Duckling picture books with Jonathan Emmett. She lives in Cardiff with her two children. Rebecca Harry is a wonderful young artist who has already received international acclaim. Her previous titles include the ELLA ELEPHANT series and NOISY FARM BABIES series for Campbell Books, and the picture book RUBY FLEW TOO (1 405 00914 4) for Macmillan Children's Books. She lives in Wales.
