Lisa Westberg Peters has written several books for children. She lives with her family in Minnesota, USA, where she walks around a lake near her home at all times of year, in all weather. The story of this particular little duck grew out of one of those cold walks. Sam Williams has written and illustrated many children's books. He lives with his wife and three children in Hertfordshire.
