Lisa Westberg Peters has written several books for children. She lives with her family in Minnesota, USA, where she walks around a lake near her home at all times of year, in all weather. The story of this particular little duck grew out of one of those cold walks. Sam Williams has written and illustrated many children's books. He has illustrated a series of Buggy Buddies for Macmillan, to be published in June 2001 (0 333 90246 7, 0 333 90247 5, 0 333 90248 3, 0 333 90249 1). He lives with his wife and three children in Hertfordshire. Sam Williams is best known for his picture books, including No More Bottles for Bunny! and Ballet Kitty for Boxer Books. He lives with his wife in Hertfordshire, England.
